In collaboration with the Strata Art Collective, the Halls Gap Art Wall is a 37 metre long 3-dimensional mural. With the Grampians National Park as it’s backdrop, the Wall is our interpretation of the Six Seasons of Gariwerd. An intimate knowledge of climate and environment defined in these seasons have helped indigenous people to survive and thrive in the Grampians/Gariwerd for thousands of years. The wall is our homage to that knowledge and the robustness of life in this region throughout the year, which serves as inspiration for our art. This project showcases a range of skills and mediums from our local Artists and is set to be a major drawcard for Halls Gap.
